JULY 11, 12, & 13 Joseph Lee Weekend
The great mystics and scientists tell us that light is at the heart of matter. The Emerald Tablet declares the same when we read, “that which is above is as that which is below”. In our human hearts we feel the same truth as a longing to live as freely as we know our essence to be. In this gathering we will join together to quicken this initiatic process and awaken the Spirit in matter.
Over this three day process aspirants will use sacred chant and meditation to activate six centers in their subtle body. These are distinct from the chakra system. When these are linked to the Christ Force in their center they form the Shield of David or the Magen David. This six-pointed living star balances the egoic energies of the aspirant and can act as a vessel for the quickening light of God. The group will then join in a powerful invocational process to charge the Magen David. Radiant with these creative forces participants will be guided to connect with elemental forces both in Nature and in their own bodies. Once these links are established the initiated participants will charge their own elemental natures with the quickening forces causing a transformation of their corresponding natures and subtle and gross bodies.
Matter must be quickened from its deadened state by an influx of Light to activate its capacity to respond to the actualizing impulses from the Christ Consciousness. It is our part in the great plan to learn how to carry these forces and act as the essential link between Spirit and Matter.

The Facilitator:
Joseph Lee, BFA, MSW is a recognized teacher in the tradition of Mystery School teachers, which reaches back into antiquity. His interest in esoteric spirituality became evident in his childhood. As a teenager, he was studying Theosophy, mystical Christianity, and Qabalistic texts; at eighteen, he was contacted by a group of Initiates and began his formal training in the Western Mystery Tradition. He experienced his spiritual education more often as a remembering than learning new information. During those twenty-nine years, he worked closely with extraordinary teachers from many traditions. Through his study groups, retreats, workshops, and lectures, Joseph carries on the tradition of passing a sacred Arcana "from mouth to ear”. His public programs include Invoking the Divine Feminine, Mysteries of Initiation, The Living Tarot, The Secret Energies of Relationships, The Kiss of Sophia, The Tree of Life, Invoking the Angels, The Souls Journey Between Death and Rebirth, Approaching the Self Through the Body and The Mystic, The Magi, the Shaman. To facilitate the deeper transformations promised in the Ancient Wisdom, Joseph has founded and teaches through regional Mystery School Study Groups. He is also a popular presenter at the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), and other organizations. Joseph is well known for his lively, challenging, intense, and humorous style of teaching. He sustains a private practice in Virginia Beach, VA focusing on transformational work with individuals.
