1:00 PM Workshop Can Science Prove the After-Life?
This lecture examines the scientific research that has been conducted into the afterlife. It lays out the different lines of evidence that support the argument that we do not die. It will methodically outline the data and also offer a critic of it. Afterward, you will have the tools to logically articulate the argument that science has proved the after-life!

3:00 PM Workshop Great Moments of Modern Mediumship
This lecture will leave both the layperson and those knowledgable of Spiritualism utterly gobsmacked. Fully sourced incidences, some famous and some little known, from the annals of Spiritualism will be presented and discussed. This lecture will round out anyone’s knowledge of mediumship and foster an appreciation of the great mediums of the past.

Maxine Meilleur

Maxine Meilleur has been interested in Spiritualism and psychical research since she began attending Spiritualist churches in St. Petersburg, Florida as a teenager. She is a former Master of Divinity candidate at Harvard Divinity School who has studied parapsychology at the Rhine Center at Duke University and examined the archives of the Society for Psychical Research at Cambridge University. Her list of published articles includes works on the Ouija Board, spiritual healing, and spirit guides. She presented a conference paper with acclaimed British medium Andy Byng on whether platform mediumship is merely entertainment and she boldly presented a conference poster titled “The Role of Discarnate Spirits within Spiritual Healing” for the Conference of Medicine and Religion. Her major work is “Great Moments of Modern Mediumship: Volume 1 and 2” that she gladly gives away for free on pdf. Among her present projects are researching commonalities in the use of trance within Tibetan Buddhism and Spiritualism. She has appeared on dozens of radio shows to include Whitney Steiber’s “Unknown Country” and hosted more than 60 of her own shows on Blog Talk Radio. As a psychic medium, Maxine provides upliftment, insight and empowerment without vague generalities or superficial platitudes. Her website is www.moderndayseer.com .
